Disabilities in the Dark

“Disabilities in the Dark” was my attempt to draw attention to information that typically isn’t known without being shared about how disabilities can be viewed and used as strengths, not weaknesses. This exhibit explores the idea that there is always more to someone or something that we can even realize.  My exhibit consists of a video that shows the process I take when I get my medication together and put them in medicine bags for the next day, paintings that show how I view and use my disabilities as strengths, and a children’s book that teaches elementary school students about learning disabilities.

The work below can be seen in my Exhibition: Disabilities in the Dark.
